When we walked into the foyer of the Novotel Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel one December night we were surprised to see it lavishly decorated for Christmas. The Christmas tree towered over the guests and staff and hundreds of fairy lights were sparkling.
This beautiful gingerbread house was on display in front of the hotel’s restaurant, and I half expected to find that someone had taken a sneaky bite out of it!
Wow, you can’t miss that tree. I love the gingerbread house, I think I want some, LOL 🙂

The gingerbread house was lovely and they had another one which was a little different on the other side of the doorway. I just didn’t expect to see Christmas in such a big way in Thailand.

Not only is the Christmas tree huge, the hotel foyer looks enormous too!

It is enormous and quite lovely. There were lots of lovely shops in it. Our room was large too and the bed was gigantic. One of those ones where you have to roll over a couple of times to find the other person.

That is one beautiful hotel. How they tried to capture the joys and spirit of Christmas is just admirable. Makes anyone feel that undescribable happiness one’s feel during Christmas time. Happy Holidays to you and your family.
