Weekly Photo Challenge – Fleeting

Vivid Sydney is a glorious festival of light, music and ideas held every winter in the harbour district of the city. Amazing digital lighting creates a world of colour and movement using famous buildings and the city skyline as the backdrop. In Darling Harbour the light walk includes a display of dancing waterfalls, fireworks and lasers set to music, and the Sydney Harbour Bridge glows with colour. These spectacular illuminations may be fleeting but the memories will last a very long time.

  1. Wow, you’ve captured the lightshows amazingly. If that were me, it would look like lines of light streaking across the photo, maybe I haven’t got a steady hand! Maybe I’ll get to Sydney one day and see it (will have to wait till England are playing cricket there first)!

    • I took a lot of photos in the hope of getting a few good ones. Most of them are a bit blurry but I was happy with these ones. England is playing Australia in the Ashes at the end of the year so you should plan a visit then. For some reason there is an Ashes series in UK now and then the next one here in December/January.
