Weekly Photo Challenge ~ Between

It’s an easy walk along the Two Storey Circuit track at Cania Gorge, past ancient sandstone cliffs and dark caves where tiny insect-eating bats make their home.

Inside King Orchid Crevice orchids and silver elkhorns cling to the rock walls . Two massive boulders, firmly wedged between the rocks, create a sense of wonder.

For how many thousands of years have they been in this position and how did they get there?

  1. I wouldn’t like to stand under those rocks 😉 It looks like a ‘nature magic trick’ with them just hanging there.

What an absolutely amazing place 😀

    • It is a beautiful national park, west of Gladstone. It’s probably not much further for you to travel to than it was for us, maybe a couple of hours more. I can recommend the caravan park we stayed at. It was great.

I didn’t even consider standing under the rocks…that would be tempting fate.
