Brussels is a vibrant, cosmopolitan city with a rich history. The streets are always bustling with people heading in every direction. Come for one last walk with me and enjoy the sights of this wonderful place. Just make sure you look up and down as well as straight ahead, because there are surprises everywhere.

When I get ready to make that reservation that includes a stay in Brussels, are you going to give me the top things I ‘must’ see? 🙂

Definitely, and I’ve probably already covered most of our favourite things in these posts. I really enjoyed Brussels and I think you would too.

The permanent beds/lounging chairs in the park are a great idea! The Mannekin Frites made me smile, although I’m not sure how tasty they would be. 😦

I liked the Mannekin Frites better than the real Mannekin!!

Dianne, Brussels is simply amazing. We filled our week there easily. The snails van was just across the road from our apartment.

A great journey, and I wouldn’t mind lounging on one of those chairs with some take away snails.

I wish now I’d tried the chairs, but I’m not bothered about not tasting the snails!

That’s Brussels?? :O I’m really angry now!! A lot of people told me it’s ‘not that great’ so I skipped Belgium entirely when I was traveling in Europe. Dammit!!

Well Surya, all I can say is you missed seeing a beautiful country. Now you have a great excuse to go again!

I love the bicyclist! Such great legs! She needs to be out in the sun a little more, though. Great pictures. I love the way you can bring back all your trip photos. Once the trip is done, I tend to move on, and so many photos sit unused. I’m glad you keep opening up the trip more and more. We can’t take it all in at once, and you’re giving us bite sized pieces. Great post! 🙂
