I don’t intentionally take blurry photos. Sometimes they just turn out that way!
These images didn’t make the grade for the first edition of Japan From Behind! but they are perfect for this week’s challenge.
Preparing for a wedding at Meiji Shrine
Walking with the family
Standing in the queue at Tokyo Disneyland

I love how the light shines through the Shinto priests making a light-blur.
The disneyland queue is great ! 🙂

Digging the blur, gives the images a sense of realness, caught in the moment. I like em. 🙂
Hope you’ve had an enjoyable Easter weekend.

Thanks. At the time I was disappointed they didn’t work out better but now I think they all tell a story. We’ve had a very pleasant long weekend. How about you?

I was just wondering how the traditional kimono outfit coped with the rigours of some of the Disneyland rides? 😀

We didn’t see the sumos again until the end of the day as we were leaving and they looked much the same as at the start so either they didn’t go on any rides or the costume is very tough! Maybe they only went on the tame rides.

Or perhaps they were just there to hold the bags and coats for others in their party!

I don’t know…they looked pretty excited to be there. Or maybe that was just me!

Well, I suppose It’s a Small World is pretty exciting actually, and a kimono would be suitable for that. 🙂

This is true. We actually did the Small World ride twice because it was so pretty.

The first time I went on it was under huge pressure from the young family members I was with at the time. After about 3 consecutive rides on it, I had to admit that I actually quite liked it.
