Me too. Pelicans must be the only birds in the world who will stand still long enough for me to get a good photo. Although the seagulls were pretty cooperative that day too.

Thanks. It helps that they don’t jump around all over the place. Mr ET manages to take amazing bird photos but most of mine are out of focus which is a bit annoying. I was very happy with these ones, especially the way the seagulls are matching in their poses.

I find pelicans absolutely fascinating creatures. I saw one close up while I was having lunch. They’re amazing looking!

They are wonderful to watch. They can be greedy though. The pelicans at Monkey Mia had to be diverted with some hand feeding otherwise they would come and steal the fish meant for the dolphins.

Thank you! I finally cracked it and got a good bird photo this time. You have no idea how many dud bird photos I have taken! I love this one too. They all look very serene.
