Even though eagles are large, they appear weightless when soaring high on warm air currents.

If I wasn’t a human being, I’d like to be one of these!

It would be pretty cool to just soar around all day.

I have always fancied myself a bird as well. An Eagle precisely 🙂

I always think it would be nice to be a bird until rainy days.

That’s right you know. I can imagine how wet it must be for them.

I almost went with a similar photo, but mine was of a common seagull not an amazing eagle! These are magnificent birds, I love to watch birds of prey.

We stood watching them for a long time, particularly the wedgetail, who was being harassed by a magpie. Your final choice of the hot air balloon was great.

I got some fairly decent photos of red kites when we went to watch them being fed in Wales, gorgeous birds. I shall save the seagull for another time 🙂

Good Morning ET! I was just on another blog this morning featuring eagles – they must be in the air 🙂 I have recently been observing a falcon – such aerodynamic ability. Your photos are great!

I see a few eagles hovering around our lake. I often wish that I could fly just like them. They make it look so easy.

Majestic. We saw countless eagles up at Arkaroola. They are amazing birds.

Lucky you to see so many. We were always on the lookout but we didn’t see many. Once, as we rounded a bend in the road, we came across one in the middle of the highway feasting on road kill. He was huge but as soon as he caught sight of us he was off and I didn’t get a shot of him.

Yes they are truly amazing birds. I remember at Arkaroola feeling like I’d stepped into some ancient and primitive wonderland as there were eagle’s soaring everywhere.
