Situated 166 km west of Broome and 230 km east of Fitzroy Crossing, the remote Willare Bridge Roadhouse is a welcome stop on Western Australia’s Great Northern Highway.
Also much appreciated are the bathrooms, labelled with these unique handcrafted signs.
Love it. Great take on the theme.

BUT shouldn’t it be SHEILA’S?

I don’t think so. There’s never an apostrophe in Ladies or Gents. Who know, you might change the way it’s done all over the world. And if there was an apostrophe wouldn’t it be Sheilas’ because of the plural?
Oh, I just figured it out. Maybe you don’t realise that Sheila is a slang Aussie word for lady, like Bloke is slang for man.

No, I meant the I and the E are the wrong way round, not that the apostrophe is missing.

Oh, I see what you mean. Nice pick up, I never even noticed and I even spelled it correctly in my reply to your comment. Ha ha. That’s funny.

It jumped out at me too, Jude. 🙂

I can’t believe I didn’t notice it. Usually spelling and grammar errors are the first thing I see.

Ignore the apostrophe, I have no idea why I put that in! Brain freeze…

Oh well, not much different from me not noticing the spelling error. I thought you meant it was like the person’s name. At least we have sorted ourselves out now!

Phew! Thank goodness for that! Perhaps you ought to go back and point out to them the spelling mistake 😀

Now there’s a thought. What a good excuse for another road trip. It is a very long way though…

Yes Jude I noticed the spelling mistake too.

They made me laugh – especially because of the spelling mistake …….. Can’t get much more down-home than that!

I didn’t even notice the spelling error until Jude pointed it out. I wonder if anyone has ever told them. Maybe it was deliberate.

It would be hard to correct without taking it all to pieces. But an interesting take on the challenge. You seem to be focusing on all toilet things at the moment!!!

Lol, that’s true, but I can promise you there will be no more toilets for a while now.

That’s very funny. You don’t often hear the word ‘Blokes’ these days. Is it used a lot in Australia, as opposed to ‘Guys’ ?

It’s a slang word and yes, it is used all the time. ‘Sheilas’ is not so common any more though.
