Goin’ Cruising #10
Tropical loos with ocean views
Along the Queensland coast.
With palm trees, sand and sun all round
Which do you like the most?
The Lagoon, Airlie Beach
Airlie Beach
Cairns Esplanade
Market Park, Port Douglas
Four Mile Beach, Port Douglas
~
And if you need to find a loo
when you’re back on board the ship,
There are loos with views on every deck
to get you through the trip!
Pacific Ocean, The Dome, Pacific Dawn
I especially like the view from the ship, but walking to the entranceway might give me a headache …..

Noooo, CC. It was all lit up and very fancy. You could manage, I’m sure!

I had to look at each view several times before I decided on my favourite – Market Park, Port Douglas. It was hard, though, because all of the views are lovely.

It is so nice there. Those mountains across the water are part of the Daintree rainforest area, World Heritage and the oldest rainforest in the world.

It sounds delightful. Interestingly, if I had been asked, I would have imagined the oldest rainforest in the world to be in South America, but that is probably because we hear more about them.

The picture of the lagoon in my favorite. It seems to speak of rest and relaxation with the colors!

Airlie Beach is a very popular beach holiday destination so I suspect you’re right about relaxation.

I’m partial to the Lagoon. 🙂

Yes, it was very pretty there and the temperature was just perfect, not too hot and not too cool.

I just love Airlie Beach, but they are all spectacular. The ship is very colourful as well 😀

The Dome is the nightclub but this was all lit up for the morning trivia competition. I guess they thought we might all start dancing!

I think I have used the one in Cairns!!

All beautiful. Was thinking Airlie Beach was my favorite, but recognized Cairns Esplanade from a previous visit. My ego won so I favor Cairns. Don’t believe I ever encountered a loo with a view. Great post.

You’d be surprised, CT Ducks. Once you start looking, you’ll find loos with views all over the place.

Love that last shot, Carol, but I reckon Airlie Beach would do me just fine. They’ve even got the towels ready 🙂 Looks like you might continue to be lucky with the UK weather 🙂 🙂

Airlie Beach seems to be the popular choice. It was so beautiful there.
The only rain we’ve had was at the end of our fossil walk at Lyme Regis on Saturday. It was glorious in Falmouth today.

Happy to hear it. 🙂 Never been there but I’ve seen it on TV a time or two. Looks beautiful.

It is lovely, although I’m very glad Mr ET is driving. The streets are so narrow.

Love the loos. They all seem pretty similar. I think I prefer just walking back into the brush though. Open air.

Well, as I say to Mr ET, that method may work for some people…

Thanks Peta. All these views are pretty amazing but the lagoon seems to be the most popular.

We are driving from Falmouth in Cornwall to Manchester today, about six hours. Finally seeing our daughter for the first time since she came here in November 2014. Looking forward to spending the next three weeks with her.

So many loos with so many views. And you’re quite the poet too. That lagoon looks especially enticing. 🙂

I love writing rhyming couplets. The lagoon was tempting but the water temperature was a little chilly, even in the tropical winter.
