Lizard Point, with its rugged cliffs and wild seas, is the most southerly part of mainland Great Britain.
These people were right on the edge!

They do, but I wasn’t relaxed while watching them. I had to look away. I’m fine with heights when I know I can’t fall, but this was taking it a bit too far.

The coastal path goes a little too close to the edge for my liking! Did you visit Kynance Cove whilst down there? The most beautiful beach I think.

We didn’t go to that beach. Next time… We looked at the people heading off up the path and it did look very close to the edge. It was also very windy so we didn’t go walking. Just looking at this amazing view was enough for me.

I didn’t watch them for long either, Dianne. It was giving me the creeps seeing them there, because it was very windy and it would have been easy for them to misstep and go over the edge.

I’m pretty nervous looking at those photos. Yikes! 🙂 Glad you stayed away from the edge a little bit. There doesn’t seem to be a railing. You didn’t try to climb down, did you? 🙂

There was a fence along the walking track but not where those people were. Mr ET would very much have liked to climb down there but I just wasn’t agreeing to that!

Oh my goodness what a glorious spot! Going on my Travel Bucket list right next to Port Isac and Plymouth. Would be fun to explore by car or perhaps a camper caravan of sorts.

Thanks Olive! I’m pleased to hear I’ve encouraged you to visit more places. We thought Lizard was better to visit than Land’s End. We always thought a campervan would be the way to go, but after negotiating the very narrow and windy roads we have changed our minds. We found it was much better to have a smaller car and base ourselves in a nice airbnb apartment. We didn’t make it to Port Isaac this time and now we think we would need at least two weeks to explore Cornwall, if not more.
Thanks too for the nomination. We are still travelling in UK so it will have to wait until I’m home.

Sounds great. Atleast you can travel within the country. I can’t travel out of Abu Dhabi city to Dubai due to border restrictions.
