Those trees have the most interesting shape. Love them. 🙂

Aren’t they beautiful. No good for a backyard garden though because of their size.

The Bunya Mountains National Park seems so awe-inspiring, Carol. Are there any good hiking trails there?

This 4 km walk is a good one and there are several others, both longer and shorter.

Ting, the bunya pines are native to Australia and only grow in a few places. They are lovely trees.

We often see lovely sunsets up in the mountains. It’s a spectacular place.

Lucky you. Our house faces north/south, so we don’t see the setting sun. It’s a blessing really, as in our other house which faced east/west, we had a problem with blinding sunsets on the water. Can’t win really. 🙂

Our home is at the top of a ridge so we have nice views over the city, lovely sunrises and sunsets and we also make the most of the northern sun in winter. It comes right into our living area. Best of both worlds.

That sounds wonderful. Unfortunately there aren’t any ridges in Florida. It’s flat as a pancake. 😰

They’re like an expanded version of the umbrella pines that I love. 🙂 🙂 I like the night time shot.

That night sky was after sunset but before it got really dark. There are no street lights or external lights out there so when it’s dark, it’s really dark.

It’s so beautiful up there, Denzil. It’s one place we really love taking international visitors to. Hint hint! 🙂
