Bright sunlight filters down through the forest, casting intriguing shadows on the track.

While some bring welcome relief as the morning temperature rises,

  1. Lovely. I watched a programme recently that explained why these patterns – ‘fractals’ – can help us feel calm because they’re so exact and repetitive (particularly things like ferns). Feel very relaxed looking at your photos.
