8 Snow White, Snow Bright

As part of Becky’s April Bright Square Photo Challenge over at The Life of B, I’ve opened the archives to January 2020 to share our 19 day trip to USA. Join me on a pictorial travelogue of the best and brightest of our pre-pandemic adventures in California and Nevada! The rules of the challenge are simple: most photos must be square and fit the theme word bright. Look for #brightsquare.

We knew there would be giant trees at Sequioa National Park but we weren’t expecting them to be surrounded by snow. The sight of these majestic trees in a snow-covered landscape was one of the highlights of our USA holiday.

And it was only the second time we’ve ever seen icicles!

  1. I love the enthusiasm of this post. Snow really can put an exclamation mark on the beauty of the landscape. We are still skiing in the mountains here but most of our snow in the city has finally melted.
