21 Reflections

As part of Becky’s April Bright Square Photo Challenge over at The Life of B, I’ve opened the archives to January 2020 to share our 19 day trip to USA. Join me on a pictorial travelogue of the best and brightest of our pre-pandemic adventures in California and Nevada! The rules of the challenge are simple: most photos must be square and fit the theme word bright. Look for #brightsquare.

Postcards from America

Even though the Japanese Tea Garden in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park was busy with visitors, there was a calming sense of quiet contemplation.

In the soft light of a winter afternoon, the shimmering reflections on the koi ponds added to the peaceful atmosphere.

  1. Water reflection shots are always my favorite! That’s why after I earned money I’ll move into a town where there are lakes and mountains steps away from home. I’ll do all the reflection shots I can. Lol.

Nice photos by the way 😁

  2. Japanese gardens are the perfect calming place to visit. The reflective pools draw you into a reflective mood. Even crowds can get quiet. Wonderful shots. I love the one that looks upside down, it’s so clear. 🙂
