Weekly Photo Challenge – Merge

Schloss Nymphenburg was the Summer residence of the rulers of Bavaria and the Royal families for centuries and even now is the home of Franz, Duke of Bavaria. The baroque palace overflows with art treasures and glorious frescoed ceilings and is a feast of colour, design and history. These art restorers were painstakingly refinishing this large painting, one tiny section at a time – merging the old with the new so that one could not be distinguished from the other.
