At the Natural History Museum in London you can take a journey to the centre of the earth on your way to the Earth Sciences exhibits. Travel up the escalator to learn more about geology, rocks and minerals, the oceans, fossils and natural disasters.

The Science Museum (and the Natural History museum next door) is a place I am very familiar with, having done many visits over the years. I love going up that escalator and into the Earth. Whoever thought of it was inspired.

I would love to have the time to just do a little section of each museum and go back again and again.

No sweating as you entered the center of the earth? I think I would have at least had a hot flash from all that color! 🙂
