Canada #5 Pink Blooms at Butchart Gardens
The pink theme of Becky’s Square in September Photo Challenge fits perfectly with our day at Butchart Gardens and matches all three interpretations:
- I was “tickled pink” to visit this beautiful garden.
- The plants were “all in the pink” – well cared for and in excellent condition.
- While there was no particular colour scheme in the gardens, we saw many beautiful pink flowers.
Mother Nature must really love pink!

Thanks. I am very pleased with the new camera. I took the advice of a photographer friend and did not use the auto setting. Instead I played with the manual settings and learned a lot about how to work them.

Beautiful! Pink is the colour of the day around Christchurch at the moment with all the blossom trees doing their spring thing. The pink and green background of this blog post complements the photos beautifully.

I love those pink bell flowers and the deep rich pink fushia? Just then I almost smelt the perfume of the soft rose petals. Lovely!
