I’m joining Becky in her July Square Photo Challenge over at The Life of B. The rules of the challenge are simple: most photos must be square and fit the theme word tree. Look for #treesquare. Come with me on a Central Queensland road trip starring trees and the beautiful landscapes of my home state.
Minerva Hills National Park
The setting sun casts a golden glow over the tallest trees in the bush and paints the sky with pastels.
As it dips below the horizon, the sun’s last light sets the sky ablaze.
Lovely golden trees and sunsets. Beautiful sights, Carol. You’re going to love my post tomorrow. (for me).

I have been reliving every day of the trip, and the days of #TreeSquares are ending, so I’ll have to move on. It’s been so much fun to focus the pictures around trees for this month. I have enough pictures for a life time of months! Not all of them are great, though. I still keep them.

I love that time of day, when the sun has gone but the sky is full of colour. I’ve often thought I would like to make a quilt with those colours.
